D.B.I.'s Standard Retractable Ignition System
Our standard retractable ignition system can be installed as a bolt-on, or weld-on to any D.B.I. flare. These can be mounted before the flare is erected, or retrofitted to flares that are in service.
Each retractable system includes two guide cables, a draw cable, a manual winch and a pulley to raise/lower the pilot on a flare up to 100’ in height.
Fuel gas for the pilot is provided by a flexible SS braided hose while wiring for the pilot is provided by custom made S/O cable, all assembled into a single harness.
