AF-6 Series Flares
D.B.I.’s AF-6 Series Flares are engineered for reliable, smokeless operation using a high-volume combustion air blower generally driven from a 480 VAC 3 Ø power source, with optional high pressure release capability. This innovative design maintains smokeless combustion from minimum to maximum flow rates—without modulating the blower. This translates into substantial savings by eliminating the need for a Variable Frequency Drive and Flow Meter. Unlike other types of smokeless flares, the flare tip is “open ended” resulting in a very low pressure drop across the tip. This is ideal for flaring large amounts of tank vapors relieving at just a few ounces of pressure.
What is a VOPT? Variable Orifice Pressure Tip
Add to any AF-Series flare for an additional 10 MMSCFD per VOPT or utilize as a High Pressure Stand Alone.
