Variable Orifice Pressure Tips - (VOPTs)
D.B.I.’s Variable Orifice Pressure Tip (VOPT) is engineered to provide clean, smokeless flaring of high pressure vapors typically released from treaters and compressors during emergency releases. Its smart design mechanically restricts the opening of the flare tip outlet, to create self-aspiration of the flare gas. No power is required for smokeless operation. Simply ensure back pressure is available to push the gas through the VOPT for optimal performance.
About VOPT's
The unique design of the VOPT ensures smokeless operation from 0 to 10 MMSCFD per tip without relying on sacrificial components. At D.B.I., our engineers design equipment tailored to your facility’s specific needs, guaranteeing optimal performance and compliance. VOPT’s can also be implemented in a dual pressure design, combining an AF-Series Flare with up to six VOPT’s for enhanced efficiency.
